Grand Events Asia Limited, as the organiser of the inaugural “AIA International Hot Air Balloon Fest Hong Kong” (HABFest), extends our sincere gratitude to all attendees and the public for your support, patience and understanding with the event. Despite our best efforts, we recognize that we fell short of delivering the expected customer experience. 

 

We appreciate our title sponsor AIA Hong Kong for their strong concern for customer experience and for reinforcing the importance of our role, as the event organizer, in making proper arrangements for affected ticket holders. As such, we have decided to offer full refunds for all HABFest tickets to express our sincere apologies and gratitude.

 

Refund Arrangement Details: Full refunds are available for HABFest tickets purchased through the following official channels: HK Ticketing, kkday, 01 Space, Dai Mai, and Trip.com.

Refund Amount: The refund will be based on the actual amount paid at the time of purchase and will be calculated in Hong Kong dollars.

Excluded Fees: This refund does not cover any handling fees.

Ticket Types: 1) Sunrise Ticket  2) Sunset Ticket   3) Two-Sunset Ticket  4) Three-Day Ticket  5) Two-Person Ticket

Please send the refund requests by email to info@habfest.com starting from September 9, 2025 within 30 days from this announcement (by October 8, 10:00 PM), including the following details:
(1) Full Name (must match the name on the bank account)
(2) Proof of Purchase and Ticket Transaction Reference Number
(3) Bank Account Information
(4) Contact Phone Number

Refunds will begin processing after the submission deadline on October 8. For applications with complete and accurate information, refunds will be completed within 30 days by November 7 via bank transfer, Faster Payment System (FPS), or other mutually agreed methods. Late submissions or applications with incomplete or inaccurate information will not be accepted.

There will be no rescheduled or replacement sessions following this refund announcement under any adverse weather conditions.
